ROLE OF POLITICAL PARTIES IN ENSURING
PARTICIPATION OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES IN
THEIR PARTIES
Political parties are the gatekeepers in politics as they
decide who gets to be adopted/selected as a candidate in
preparation of national elections. As gatekeepers, political
parties have great influence on the conduct of internal
participation of party members to ensure inclusion of PWDs
in party structures.
