THE CBR CONFERENCE IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR ZAMBIA TO SHARE EXPERIENCES AND BEST PRACTICES ON INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT REGARDING THE WELLBEING OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES IN COMMUNITIES.

 

YOU ARE WELL AWARE THAT THE GOVERNMENT THROUGH THE MINISTRY OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND SOCIAL SERVICES ESTABLISHED THE NATIONAL POLICY ON DISABILITY TO ENSURE THAT THE NEEDS AND CHALLENGES BEING FACED BY PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ARE RESPONDED TO IN A COMPREHENSIVE AND WELL-COORDINATED MANNER. THE FORMULATION OF THE POLICY WAS DONE TO CREATE AN ENABLING ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ENJOY THEIR RIGHTS AND FULFIL THEIR ASPIRATIONS.Media Breakfast Speech
